Privacy Policy

Interval has not launched publicly yet. The sections describing the app apply once it is available; we’ll finalise this policy before launch.

1. Who we are

Interval is a theatre-discovery service operated by Eventstream (“we”, “us”, “our”). For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@eventstream.tech.

2. Information we collect

Waitlist details — your email address, whether you’re a theatre-goer or a venue, and (optionally) your city.
Account information (once the app launches) — your email and name from sign-in (via Google Firebase), the theatres you follow, your notification preferences, and device identifiers used to deliver push notifications.
Usage information — engagement events such as which theatres are viewed or followed, used to understand interest and improve the service.
Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and server logs.

3. How we use your information

To tell you when Interval launches, if you asked us to.
To provide the app and send the alerts you opt into (new shows, booking opening, cancellations).
To improve and secure the service.
To respond to your enquiries and to contact venues about claiming their profiles.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on your consent (waitlist, marketing messages and push notifications), on the performance of a contract (providing the app to account holders), and on our legitimate interests (improving and securing the service, and venue outreach).

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who process it on our behalf — including Google Firebase (authentication and push), our hosting and database providers, and email-delivery providers. Theatres you follow may see aggregate statistics (such as follower counts) but not your personal details. Booking takes place on the theatre’s own website under their privacy policy; Interval never processes payments.

6. International transfers

Some providers operate outside the EEA. Where data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@eventstream.tech. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

9. Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies needed for security and to remember your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies here.

10. Children

Interval is not directed at children under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post any changes on this page with a new “last updated” date.
